The Write Kit Story: Tools for Authors
A Collaboration Between Liz Dubelman and Jesse Kanner
The world of writing, publishing, and releasing books has undergone a radical transformation in the past few years—one that opens up new opportunities for eager fresh authors from all walks of life.
The Write Kit emerged from long conversations with frustrated authors—debut novelists overwhelmed by social media, nonfiction writers baffled by mailing lists, and memoirists wary of sacrificing authenticity for clicks. We realized authors need more than pre-fab general purpose tools and stale out of touch online courses. They need a real marketing technology partner who respects their craft and can deliver ways to demystify the business side of their journey.

Prior to his interactive media career, Jesse was a recording engineer for top-tier artists such as Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, Earth Wind and Fire, 4 Non Blondes, and Jackson Browne. For Jesse, the release of The Write Kit fulfills a life-long dream—to make a compelling online experience for creative people done just the right way, without compromise.“Building great software isn’t so different from mixing an album,” he says. “It’s about balance, rhythm, and knowing when to let the magic happen.”
